Yesterday was one of those long travel days. A plane delay out of California caused a missed connection in Dallas where no more flights were going out. No problem, we said at 8:00 last night, we’ll get our luggage, rent a car, and drive home. Not so fast, said American Airlines. Three agents and three hours later, we were informed that our luggage was tagged for Monroe and could not be retrieved. “Seriously!” we wanted to scream. “Why didn’t someone tell us that at 8:00!!” So, here’s the spiritual lesson for the day because, of course, there is one. Our suitcase was tagged for home and no one was going to stand in its way. Guess who else is “tagged for home.” Me. And you, if you’ve turned your baggage over to God. Like my suitcase, my Father has marked me for home and, I may not know when or how, but I am going home and no one, not Satan or any of his evil schemes, will keep me from getting there. God is fighting for me to stay on course! He has tagged me and I am going home. Happy Monday! Hugs, 2-mama @a.mom.thing #itsamomthing #airplane #prayfortexas
