Redeemed.Restored.Ready

Mostly a toddler’s days are spent making messes, crying, saying no, falling down and getting up. But, imagine one day, daddy pitches a ball to this toddler and he nails the ball. It flies past daddy into the future. From that day on, daddy’s view of that toddler changes. He is now an all star baseball player. T-shirts, bats, gloves, helmets are bought and he’s still two. Granted, he is a mess-making toddler to others, but to daddy, he is a STAR! Think about this—when you declared Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life and started to follow Him, on most days, you are still the messy human you were before you made that commitment. But, from that day forward, your Father, doesn’t see the messy you, He sees the all star, faith-filled child of God He has redeemed you to be. We all need to stop looking at our messy selves thinking that’s who we really are and start seeing ourselves as God sees us—Redeemed, restored and ready to be all God has called us to be. Have a great week! Hugs, 2-mama
