Who Do You Follow?

Who Do You Follow?

A few years ago, while skiing, we decided to let Bella lead us back to our cabin. We had taken the path a few times so following a nine year old seemed reasonable–until she took a sudden right turn over a hill to an unknown destination. Following seems so easy, doesn’t it? It really doesn’t take much brain power. Or does it? Following means you have to make a conscious decision to trust the leader and pay close attention to their steps. On that day our sweet leader took a wrong leaving us no option but to follow her into possible peril. As it turns out the turn was only an inconvenience not a danger zone. Still we were reminded that who we follow and where we’re going is important. Psalm 119:80 says “May I wholeheartedly follow your decrees, that I may not be put to shame.” You will never go wrong following God. Have a great week! Hugs, 2-mama
