As We Grow

As We Grow

Sunday morning I sat next to my grandson Maddox during church. When the prayer was said, I have to confess, I didn’t close my eyes. Instead, I marveled at how big Maddox’s feet had gotten and that his legs were so long they pressed up against the seat in front of him. At 15, he’s nearly grown, I thought. I was sad, but also filled with pride and joy at the young man he has become. Then I thought about God as He watches us grow. Is he marveling at how kind we’ve become or how much more loving and patient and braver we are. Is He filled with pride and joy that we’re starting to look more like Him. I certainly hope He feels that way about me. I know you do too. Have a blessed week. Hugs, 2 mama
