Be There For One Another

Be There For One Another

A sweet friend took this picture of me holding my granddaughter, Aslyn’s, hand in church yesterday. If it’s true that a picture says a thousand words, this picture does for sure. Rick Warren says you will never learn who you really are if you are by yourself. Think about it. With no human contact, one is never challenged to be anything. Just holding this granddaughter’s hand challenges me to be a better person—to love more, to be brave, to respect others, to work hard, to argue less, to study more, to show up, to be kind and many other things. I hope you are holding someone else’s hand today. I hope you’re letting them challenge you to grow and become more than you thought you could be and you’re doing the same for them. Have a great week. Hugs, Chrys
