Let’s Dance

Let’s Dance

Dancing isn’t the topic of many devotional messages, but stay with me. I learned a valuable lesson about God while watching a square dance lesson. The caller or teacher told the young men at the lesson to extend their hand to the lady. Then, he said, the lady can either accept his hand or walk away. I loved his next words, “That is what a gentleman does. He simply offers; he never forces.” I thought about my God and how He extends His hand of peace and grace and hope and love and eternal life, but He never forces it on us. He simply offers. Psalm 86:15 tells us that God is a God with unfailing love and faithfulness. He is, indeed, the perfect gentleman. Have a great week. Hugs, 2-mama
