Waiting For Your Call

Waiting For Your Call

As Johnny and I headed out on our journey this past week, we did what most of us do today. Both of us typed our destination in our cell phones. Soon the directions came up, but we discovered the instructions didn’t match. After further investigation, we noticed that Johnny had put in the correct city name, but the incorrect state. Many times we asked ourselves why a certain plan we had mapped out didn’t succeed? After all, doesn’t God want us to be successful? But here’s a thought, perhaps we didn’t put the right information in our plan. The famous Christian writer, Oswald Chambers, said it like this:“We get ourselves into circumstances that were not chosen by God, and suddenly we realize that we have been making our plans without Him— that we have not even considered Him to be a vital, living factor in the planning of our lives.” If something hasn’t been going as you thought it would or should, perhaps you need to recalculate and include God in your plans. He’s just waiting for your call. Have a great week! Hugs, 2 mama
