Decisions, Decisions

Decisions, Decisions

Studies suggest that the average person makes around 35,000 decisions per day. I couldn’t find numbers from my 1950–1960 childhood, but I can tell you this — it wasn’t 35,000!
Just think about entertainment back then: three TV channels, a transistor radio that barely worked, or one movie at the theater. I won’t even get into clothing, food, or toy options.
Life was just simpler, you might say.
While sometimes we don’t love it when it shows up in our toddlers, free will — the ability to choose — is a gift from God. We humans have the capacity to make choices that shape our character, affect our relationships, and determine our futures. It’s a lot!
But as believers, when we remember that every decision should reflect God’s love, grace, and truth, choosing becomes a little easier:
Kindness over anger.
Forgiveness over bitterness.
Faith over fear.
And love over everything else.
Have a great week! Hugs, 2 mama (hug pic: Honey, Haven, Korie and me)
