God Is At Work

God Is At Work

Our little town is over the top excited that the Arkansas Road project is now happening. (I know. Small town goals.)Those of us who have dreamed of a 4-lane road are convinced this improvement will cure all that ails us. We’ll be home ten minutes sooner. No more sitting behind trash trucks. Never again tapping our foot while great-grandma goes 5 miles an hour. Life is going to be good! But, for now, the sides of the road are lined with large equipment, fallen trees, piles of dirt and downed power lines. So, as we wait for improvements, we have to put up with a few messes. Isn’t this true of any improvement project? What area of your life needs improvement? Your marriage, your job, your health, a kid relationship? Philippians 1:6 tells us this: “Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” You might feel like your power lines are down, but hang in there, God is hard at work. If you will keep looking to Him, He will bring in the heavy equipment to get you right where you need to be. Have a great week. Hugs, 2-mama
