Monday Hug: I want you to know I take great care of my teeth!! I brush. I floss. I go to the dentist regularly, but still….cavities happen. And for me, a lot!! At one point, my back teeth were a not-so-attractive river of silver. But, with modern dentistry, the silver has been replaced with a product that looks like my tooth. It’s ‘as if’ I never had a cavity! I love it!! When I brush my teeth I think of God’s mercy and grace. (I know, I’m crazy like that.) The Bible says in Romans 5:1, “Since we have been justified (that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God) by faith, let us grasp the fact that we have peace with God … through our Lord Jesus Christ” (AMP). In other words, once we claim Jesus as our Lord and savior, it’s ‘as if’ we never sinned. That river of sin is made clean and white! Isn’t that awesome?? The next time you brush your teeth (hopefully tonight) thank God that your sins are no longer on display. That all God sees is a pearly white made-perfect-by-the-blood-of-Jesus person who loves and appreciates Him. Have a great week! Hugs 2 mama
