Do you have a rock in your shoe?

Do you have a rock in your shoe?

One morning I had a tiny rock in one of my Ugg boots. I kept shaking my foot so it would move out of the way. That worked for a while, but soon the rock was right back pestering me.
Finally, I stopped and mentally said, “Why am I walking around in pain when all I have to do is stop, take my boot off, and knock it out”
The answer isn’t a good one, but it’s honest. 1. I said I was a too busy. 2. I thought it was not harmful. 3. I occupied my mind with other things.
Do you have a rock in your shoe? I don’t mean a real rock; I mean those “pebbles of pain” we walk around with that keep us from enjoying all God has for us. Is there something you need to stop doing, seeing, or saying so the pain, worry, or annoyance stops?
If so, just stop. Put it down. Hand it over to God, so you can run straight into God’s plan for your life!
Hugs, 2 mama
